Using the service
EPC AI Assistant gives students access to an AI study assistant. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
Your account
- Give accurate details when you register, and keep your e-mail address current so you can recover access.
- Your account is personal to you. Do not share your password or let someone else use your balance.
- Only one active session is permitted per account; signing in elsewhere ends the previous session.
- Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
Tokens
- Tokens are the unit of usage. Every request costs the number of tokens the AI provider actually reports.
- Free trial and referral tokens are promotional, have no cash value and cannot be transferred or withdrawn.
- When your balance reaches zero, requests stop until you top up. Your history stays intact.
- We keep a full ledger of every token movement, which you can review on your usage page.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the assistant to:
- Break the law, or produce content that harms, harasses or defames another person.
- Generate malware, attack tooling or anything designed to compromise systems.
- Attempt to access another user's account, conversations or data.
- Automate, scrape or resell access to the service without our written agreement.
- Create multiple accounts to claim the free trial or referral bonus repeatedly.
Accounts that break these rules may be disabled without a refund.
Academic honesty
The assistant is a study aid. You are responsible for following your school's or university's rules on the use of AI tools. Check answers before you rely on them: AI can be confidently wrong, particularly with dates, citations and arithmetic.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you send. You give us the limited permission needed to store your conversations and to transmit your messages to the AI provider so a reply can be generated. We do not claim ownership of your work.
Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. Maintenance, provider outages and network problems can all cause downtime. If a fault on our side prevents you from using tokens you paid for, contact support and we will make it right.
Payments
Prices are shown before you pay. A plan activates only after the payment is confirmed on our backend — never from a browser message alone. Refunds are handled under our refund policy.
Changes and closure
We may update these terms as the service develops; the date at the top of this page shows the current version. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or presents a security risk.
